What:New Peruvian-Jap restaurant opening, named Mistura
Where: Ai Giannis bay, Mykonos
Why Go: It pairs top chef with supreme location.
Mistura! What a name, certainly catchy but hopefully a brand new restaurant beyond just that.
Now this brand new restaurant opening is a match made in heaven right from the start.
Take 1 top chef, Dimitris Katrivesis, a unique location right on St John’s bay and a multifaceted cuisine like the Peruvian one and BOOM you have a win-win situation.
The place formally opened a couple of days ago, the menu looks interesting and it is definitely a “sharing” restaurant.
I love the concept with the chef creating a 4 0r 8 course meal for the whole table plus i really like the diversity of ingredients, all sorts of spices and aromas that feature on the menu.
From creatively prepared sushi to seafood tiraditos & ceviches, pork belly burgers, kobe beef and many many more plus the local touch by adding Mykonian ingredients like the yuca croquet dish with the kopanisti cheese, all these and many more we are hoping to have an ethnic, laid back food destination on the island.
In case you are visiting the island, the Ai Giannis bay is a must go for its sunsets and its amazing energy.
