Why Go: For its theatrical decor combined with a touch of soft luxury. A true metropolitan bar that travels you to a hidden,past era.
Imagine golden yellow thick velvet curtains that open in front of your eyes and you encounter a very cosmopolitan, vivid colonial bar.
Golden chandeliers, green leather stools on the square bar, old school bartenders, blue ceilings, thick carpets, pink almond trees featuring on the walls and coloured tiles that are the piece de resistance resembling to to the typical Sicilian and Spanish terracota and blue tiles.
We were served cocktails and nibbles and although you will not be coming here for the food – at least not yet – the place definitely seems like an oasis in the Athenian centre combining great aesthetics that alterate from room to room.
You first enter a tall ceiling reception area with deep red and golden hues on the walls, the feeling you get is really warm and along with the bar’s name -Noel- you instantly feel christmasy and happy.
On the left stands the brand new blue bar that is definitely posher than the rest of the place and transmits an air of colonial glam.
