Think the Maldives and then add a bit of primitive, unspoiled, green-free Cycladic nature with endless views on the Aegian blue plus minimal contemporary, very impressive, interior design and good service.

On top of this, seclusion, anonymity,a thalassotherapy spa  and the Relais & Chateaux touch.

The Mykonian Utopia stays true to its name and after a year since its opening, it is a supreme resort on the island of Mykonos, far beyond the rest 5 star hotels.

The impeccable hospitality and know-how, I encountered, I don’t experience very often in many hotels on the islands.
Having said that,  I would like to stress the fact that my expectations when visiting and reviewing hotels in Greece are not very high no matter how many stars they possess or what “family” of hotels they belong to.

Ideal for: couples, pre or post wedding parties, cool families.
Do not go if:  you want to party downtown every night, unless you have a private chaffeur to drive you back to the hotel.
Piece de resistance: The lobby, the pool area but foremost the 4 villas that interconnect, resulting into your own private, secluded village.
Try: The Elemis Pro-Intense Lift effect Facial. It rocks and then you can continue the therapy at home, using the Pro-Intense Programme which you can buy on line or from the hotel.
The Food: Good but not of Relais & Chateaux standards yet.5
