Created in 1982, and fully remodelled and renovated in 2019, Refuge de La Traye is the superlative Savoyard chalet. Located in a secluded setting just outside of Méribel, the Refuge is immersed in nature with views of the Alps and pine forests.
Open in both winter and summer, the Refuge will operate as an exclusive-use property, offering an exceptional tailor-made alpine experience, for up to 15 people.
Designed in the style of a miniature hamlet covering 700m2 with its characteristic wooden and stone buildings, Refuge de la Traye is an eco-luxury alpine home, with six elegant bedrooms boasting gorgeous mountain views; a dedicated wellness area; an intimate dining room with terrace; a cosy lounge with open fireplace; a children’s playroom stocked with an assortment of age appropriate toys and activities; a cinema room; a bijou chapel and fully serviced ski room.
The Refuge is fully staffed with a dedicated team on hand to look after every aspect of the stay; from creating bespoke menus and regional wine tastings in the cellar, to arranging muscle-soothing spa treatments and memorable local experiences such as electric snowmobiles, snowshoeing and zip lining.
Refuge de La Traye will operate on an exclusive all-inclusive basis including all food and beverage, ski hire and ski pass, snowmobile transfer to and from the slopes and a shuttle to Méribel. Also included is the option to enjoy the legendary Le Festin lunch experience at La Table des Airelles restaurant, located at sister property, Les Airelles in Courchevel 1850, as well as the following three slope side restaurants: Le Chalet de Pierres, Courchevel; Le Nama at Aman Le Mélezin and La Folie Douce, Courchevel.
Winter season runs from: 12th December 2020 to 4th April 2021
