What: Balthazar Open air Bar Restaurant
Where: 27 Tsocha St, Athens.
Athens’ most iconic garden is now open for the summer season.
Revived by all means with 2 gastronomical propositions and endless space for cocktails and socializing, it seems that this summer Balthazar will be gaining all the lost ground of the past 3 years.
Famous Greek chef Christoforos Peskias has signed the new menus which are a pleasant deja vu .
Creative Mediterranean cuisine with light dishes that have stayed true to Balthazar’s ID but also have evolved, offering a more than satisfactory dinner on a summery evening.
For the sushi lovers there is a Freud Oriental menu and restaurant at the back garden, kind of “a restaurant in restaurant thing”
The piece de resistance: The sweet creations by patissier Dionysis Alertas.
The Thai prawn ceviche
We loved: The desserts, especially the dark chocolate with pepperoncino. A must try .
We ask for:
More options on quality wines by the glass
More good looking people…
After all it is Athens’ most people watching garden.
