3 day detox menu plan

The past 10 days I have been trying to convince myself that the time is up and “beach body” should be on the way!
On top of that I have been thinking seriously about well-being and real healthy living not just our usual healthy routine like working out and pretending to eat right but get to the core of it, eliminate all processed foods and animal fat plus detoxify from all alcoholic drinks and any social-smoking

We have created a couple of posts that will help you get in the mood for an “elimination of the toxins” diet PLUS help you in the process of detoxing.

Find below a 3 day detox menu plan .
We will be providing you with an extra 4 days in case you are tough enough to keep it up for a whole week

Steamed chicken and broccoli

DAY 1

MORNING:
–Glass of room temperature lemon water. See:(5 reasons to drink Lemon Water in the morning)

–Herbal tea. -I suggest Red fruits which is super antioxidant or the Detox Organic Herbal Tea by APIVITA with Lemon Verbena,Dandellion and Juniper

–breakfast: Blueberry and Almond Smoothie (1 1/2 cup of almond milk +half a cup of blueberries +1 scoop of whey protein)

–lunch: Salad with variety of greens, carrot slices, half an avocado, handful of nuts

–snack: A handful of mixed pumpkin and sunflower seeds

–dinner: Steamed Salmon and Greens (No more than 200gr of salmon fillet)

Day Two

 

MORNING

–Glass of room temperature lemon water

–Herbal tea

–breakfast: Raspberry and Rice Milk Smoothie (follow method for Blueberry and Almond Smoothie)

–lunch: Steamed Chicken with broccoli (always season with a spoon-ful of olive oil, lime, pepper)

–snack: Detox Green smoothie(see recipe)

–dinner: Steamed vegetables-your choice with a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil, lime and pepper(1 sweet potato, green beans, cauliflower, mushroom, etc)

 Day Three

MORNING

Glass of room temperature lemon water

Herbal tea

breakfast: Oatmeal (make with almond milk or just water adding a spoonful of honey and cinnamon. Boil or just put it in the microwave for 2 minute in low heat-I add strawberries for extra flavor OR half a banana mashed or thinly sliced)

lunch: Blueberry and Almond Smoothie

snack: 4 Oatcakes with cucumber – you can add a bit of hummus or fava or avocado

dinner: Raw Courgettes  or slightly steamed and thinly sliced with tomato sauce, as in picture 1. (For the sauce grate  3 vine tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, capers and pepper and bring to the boil in low heat.
A touch of fleur de sel is OK!
